Your chances at JHU, UCB, and UCLA are low. You should focus on the lower UCs.

^Agreed.

I mean, apply wherever you want, and aim high, but make sure to have enough safeties and matches within the lower UCs.

Good luck! :)

Chance back?

@billcsho: what about ucsd?

bump,bump,bump

for the top colleges, 1900 SAT is … quite low. your ECs make it more difficult to stand out nationally but for the less competitive colleges that might not matter much

UCSD - high match
UCI - match
UCR - low match
UCLA - reach
UCB - reach
JHU - reach
CSU Long beach - low match

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1533018-chance-me-please-i-chance-back.html</a> and good luck :D

What does match, low match, high match, and reach mean?
I kinda know what they mean but I mean how far is the difference between each other.

In decreasing probability:
Safety, low match, match, high match, low reach, reach, high reach.
All reaches mean not very likely. All matches mean within range. You should definitely try UCSD. It is on the same application anyway.

Bump? Bump?

josh2633 can you chance me back please?

Everyone here is saying that your chances are grim for these schools, but if you achieve your planned jr year grades and knock the SAT/ ACT out of the park, I think most of those “reaches” turn into low reaches or high matches.

will do right now!

you should raise your SAT score a bit more!! if you do, then like what vipstephen said, you can have a better chance at your reach schools C: chance me?

bump? bump please?
