I would really appreciate comments!!! Thanks!

what exactly do you want us to say

it's a chance thread, i would like you to please tell me what you think my chances are of getting into the listed colleges :)

Not to be harsh or anything, but this is quite possibly the dumbest chance me thread i have ever seen.

SAT: 2300+

PSAT 230 +

ACT 34+

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get those scores before you ask to be chanced! You are only screwing yourself over. Everyone will say you have a great chance at any school with those scores, but execution is imperative.

I'm merely basing the scores on practice tests I've taken and people I know who are about the same as me who have taken it. You should look at the scores as if they really were achieved, because this is like a "best case scenario" kind of a thing. I'm not being arrogant or pompous or anything, I just want to see what people would say about these kind of stats. Gosh, you don't have to be rude and say this is a dumb thread or anything, that's just a waste of posting.

well, u're just speculating.....but lets assume that u actually obtained those scores.....i think u'd be in everywhere consider u got good recommendations, essays. Harvard and MIT might be a bit hard though.

I didn't mean to be rude but BigWeight post confirmed my argument.

Obviously if you obtain those scores your resume assumes a new degree of validity and legitimacy in the face of other applicants. The issue is that you ARE being pompous if you find my post rude because it proves A. you expect us to say you are in at these schools and B. you invalidate honest criticism (my first post).

I dont think you are the first person to post in speculation, but I dont see why you would want to be chanced before those stats are certain. It only undermines anything you have accomplished by creating complacency and smugness.

Just my two cents.

I agree. What are you looking for us to say? Yes, you have good chances. But wait, you already knew that.

Bad thread... that is all i have to say

I'm really not sure what the big deal is; this doesn't seem different than any other chance thread. There are several others that are speculative as well.

I was merely hoping for some honest (and unbiased) feedback as to whether or not I had a good chance, not whether or not the thread was valid.

I'm really sorry if it came off as snobby or anything, I was just making a best case scenario estimation, really guys, I didn't mean to sound like a jerk.

sorry cleverscreenname if i hurt your feelings. Obviously you have a great chance for getting into any of those schools. When i read the thread it was like you were trying to rub it in our faces.

Holy s***. You are basically in at all of the schools besides Harvard and MIT where you may have a little trouble getting in.

Thanks for understanding guys :)

Haha and thanks to ari102791 for censoring yourself :P

BUMP

hopefully i can get some more opinions :)

Assuming you actually get those scores, you should be safely in at most of those schools. But you know what they say about assuming, right? ;)

Haha yeah, don't count your chickens before they hatch and all. But I guess I can think wishfully ^_^. And I'm taking an SAT prep class this summer, so hopefully that will help.
