<p>sure, you may be intelligent. Grades, and test scores for that matter, don’t really show true intelligence. Personally, I only have a 3.5 UW with a 35 on my ACT, and I think I’m an intelligent person, but the truth is a 3.5 is considered a low GPA. We’re not being “d0uch3lords” as you put it, we’re just giving danders an honest look instead of saying “YOU’LL TOTALLY GET IN MAN!!” so he is less disappointed if he gets rejected.</p>
<p>I agree with you that GPA is pretty stupid, and that because I was lazy and didn’t really try in HS that it could mess up the rest of my life, but in reality you just have to deal with the fact that a 3.2-3.5 is a low GPA, especially for schools like Duke.</p>
<p>Also, a 2.5 GPA would mean the student is getting Bs and Cs, not Cs and Ds, so im questioning how intelligent you really are :)</p>
