Thats great that you are going for the full IB Diploma. From what I have heard, it isn’t easy. However, you’re GPA is a little low for these prestigious universities. You have great SAT scores, and admirable extracurriculars. I’d say if you brought your GPA up to a 3.8, your in. But until then:

Penn: Reach
Columbia: low match / reach
Georgetown: Low Match
UMich: High Match
Northwestern: Match
Boston College: Sorry, but I don’t know much about this school

I have no idea, but please keep me updated. I’m almost in the exact same situation as you

GPA: 3.4
This is my GPA for Freshman and sophmore year. I went to the best prep school in the United States, where about 30% of the kids matriculate to top 15 schools. I was in the top 50-ish%

I switched schools, and this is how things are going:
IB Math HL (in Calculus), IB Physics HL, IB Economics HL, IB Chemistry SL, IB English SL, IB French SL, TOK

My GPA last term was a 3.90
Average GPA for people in the last 4 years at this school and who got into an Ivy is a 3.75-3.8

I am most likely going to be National Merit Scholar (PSAT: 231) and my SAT from 8th grade is 2140. I have almost the same clubs as you!

Also, just to give my own two cents, I think that you have great EC’s, although your GPA is a little low, especially if you had high 9th and 10th grades, but low IB grades from 11th grade. Your SAT is also a bit low, but okay since you’re an international student. What are your SAT II scores- those are an important part when colleges make their decisions.

Finally, you might want to include some more details, such as race, whether you’re a legacy, etc. etc.

Don’t give up! My brother got into Harvard a few years ago with low scores, but graduated Summa Cum Laude an is now at medical school

just to clarify, i’m not an international student, i’m just doing the IB program
i know, my SAT’s are really low, i’m trying to retake/also trying the ACT’s…i have only taken one SATII so far (730 in lit)
my 9th grade GPA was great, but i really messed up 10th grade, but i brought it back in 11th grade so hopefully that will count for something
