<p>I'm especially interested in being chanced for a Richmond Scholars scholarship! Thanks :)</p>

<p>Schools (not including safeties):</p>

<p>University of Richmond (RD; first choice, but can't afford it)
UVA (EA; other first choice)
William and Mary (RD)
UNC Chapel Hill (EA)
Duke</p>

<p>7 AP classes: 4s on US, World, Env, and Lang
3 Honors classes</p>

<p>3.9 W GPA</p>

<p>SAT II: US history 680, Lit 740, taking Span w/ Listening and Math lvl 1 in fall</p>

<p>SAT: 1970 CR: 680 W: 720 M: 580 (retaking in October)
ACT: 31 comp (retaking in October) english: 35 math: 28 reading: 33 science: 29 E/W: 32</p>

<p>Captain of sport I'm very involved in, president two clubs, secretary one club, historian one club, member six clubs, Spanish Honor Society, NJHS, NSHSS, first chair tubist and section leader</p>

<p>Work 15 hrs a week for the family business and have held one other job for a summer.</p>

<p>Over 300 hours of community service.</p>

<p>My essays will be very good.</p>

<p>EC’s are good. Aim for 2100 atleast in SAT. GPA is good. Prepare well for your subject tests. Get good LOR’s. There’s a brief summary. I think you could get in with better test scores. </p>

<p>Submit your ACT score, not your SAT. You have a good GPA and very good EC’s and leadership positions. I don’t know much about your schools, but I think you have a good shot at UVA, Richmond, and UNC. Duke and William & Mary are probably reaches but you have a chance. Apply and see what happens. Get your apps in early and you’ll have a better chance at both schools.</p>
