any information would be helpful

You are a senior? Can you retake your SAT2s?I think Brown is a BIG stretch.
Are you considering running in college? I would contact the coaches if you have comparable/decent times, because that could be a hook for you.
Why don’t you apply to St Olaf? You look like it would be a good fit, with the service stuff, and your scores are more competitive there…
I think you should retake your ACT and SAT2s, because a 31 puts you in a much better position, as do 700s, and you are SO CLOSE…

It’s interesting that you recommended St. Olaf because it is one of my schools on the fence right now. I’ll reconsider it.
I’m also thinking about BC as a more reasonable stretch school

I am a senior, and thanks for the response

I think everything is too low for Brown and Northwestern i dont know anything about the other schools

but your EC’s look great!!

BC is probably more reasonable for you than Brown.
Why didn’t you like St Olaf?Under-rated, but really supportive, has that helping others vibe, nice people, nice campus, great profs and study abroad-have you visited? I dragged my S out there and now it’s his 3rd choice…He hates the name, tho.
BU is fun if you like Boston and are independent, I think BC has a more supportive environment.
I take it U of M is your safety.

BU is a match. Great school, my D loves it there.

Brown= BIG reach
BU= Match

Chance back?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/804723-chances-ed-dartmouth.html

I’ve visited St. Olaf a couple times. My main problem is the town. I’ve spent a few days there and as far as it goes there was very little to do. It’s on the top of a hill and gets pretty cold, also some rough walks.
my biggest problem with st. olaf is that I’d prefer carleton over it and if I couldn’t go to Carleton I wouldn’t want the constant reminder of my failure visible every day.
(you can see carleton from st. olaf(I think))

Brown and even Northwestern are a big stretch, do you still have time to improve on your ACT or SATII’s?

not really,
I don’t really care about them too much anyways.
do I have a chance at BC?

Don’t know too much about BC, but the middle 50% for ACT is 28-32 and you should be at least competitive if not a match.

that’s good
