I’d say you have a very good shot at getting in. As for what to do now, see if you can break 2100 on your SAT, write a good essay, and get some killer recommendation letters.

Agreed with Hawkwings, just try to boost up that SAT score and don’t slack off on the essays and recs.

Your stats are much higher than mine and I was accepted (don’t sweat the 2000 SAT, I had the same and I’m at Annenberg), however, your ECs seem a bit all over the place. Just make sure you highlight a passion for something specific in your personal statement. That’s very important for USC admissions. I’ve heard of valedictorians getting rejected. I don’t think it’s safe to assume you’ll be accepted based on your extremely high GPA/test scores.

Thank you for the advice! How would I be able to highlight my passion at this point though? :(

Well… what is your passion? Why do you want to major in biology?

did you go to Archbishop Mitty?

@marmar16

I want to major in Biology, because I’m actually really interested in it…mainly about the human body though. At first, I hated it, haha, but then I gradually started to like it more and more. Through majoring in Bio, I want to become a doctor (maybe specifically a pediatrician), so I can actually help others and do what I love as well.

@coexist

YES, I DO. o.O How did you know that?

BTW, to add to my ECs, I also took Mandarin school on Saturdays for around 10 years, and I took Japanese school for about 3 years. I hope that helps? I think it counts as an EC, hopefully.

Are you applying as an international applicant

No, I am not. I’m from the U.S.
