<p>Your ECs are nice. I agree, get your math score up, and your chances will increase. Looking at the College Board website, it doesn’t appear that UMass looks at writing. At this point, consider it a reach but obtainable if you improve your score. Are you a jr. or a sr.?</p>
<p>Hopefully better bubbling-in next time around will result in better than the measly 450 and get that score up. Although I wish you could increase your math score 100 points (and maybe writing by 30-40 points while at it)…</p>
<p>I also live in MA and a ton of kids from my school go to The Zoo. Unfortunately you’re gpa and SAT’s are low. They want at least 3.7 with over 1875 on SAT’s. good luck</p>
<p>I think you should try ACT test . It been reported some people do better on ACT test then SAT. My daughter took ACT test in September and her overall composite score is 28 … which equals about 1860 in SAT . This past may her SAT scored was 1790 which includes the writing . So try ACT test . You might surprise yourself.</p>
