Just got first semester grades. Finished with a 3.65 gpa. I'm at Penn State now and I'm applying at USC, UT Austin, Michigan, Duke, and possibly Pitt and Carnegie Mellon. Duke may be a longshot but I'm gonna try. You thunk I have a chance at these other schools. Oh and btw I'm taking 18 creds next semester of harder classes like calc 2, chem 2, physics. english, and macroeconomics. Thanks!

Need more information… HS GPA? Test scores? EC’s? It would also depend on which college in each university you’re applying to, I think.

Oops dont know how I forgot that. Engineering at all of them. 3.6 unweighted in high school. Not any ec’s in college. A good bit in hs like basketball, football, academic team, debate team, math team. 650 math sat, 560 reading, 620 writing

SAT is low for the engineering schools at Michigan, Duke and CM - can’t say about the rest. EC’s in college definitely help… I’m assuming you’re a sophomore transfer, you stand to have a better chance as an incoming junior in my opinion

Yeah I figured that. I didn’t know how much sats would weigh in.

Bump please
