Chance Please?

I go to a public magnet high school ranked #2 in the state of Illinois.
My school has no rank but I am probably in the top 10-25%
I have taken all honors, one regular and 4 A.P classes.
I have about a 4.57 weighted g.p.a and a 3.85 unweighted g.p.a.
I had a 31 on the ACT.
I am female and I am interested in engineering or biology (I want to become an orthopedic surgeon).

Extracurriculars:

Cross Country- 3 years Varsity (10, 11, 12)
Track- 3 years Varsity (10, 11, 12)

Swimming- 1 year (12)

volunteer service-
I know I must have +100 hours but I am not sure exactly how much. I have done a lot of service projects through school and through clubs but I haven't kept track or recorded every single hour because it's not that important to me to say I had this many hours... I don't think there would be much of a difference between someone with 100 hours and 130 hours anyway.

work experience-
this past summer I worked at Mcdonald's 20-40 hours per week

I also plan to run in college if i can. I have had an unusually large amount of injuries that have slowed me down... I had three stress fractures and I had to take sedentary six-month break because of knee problems. But my junior year (my second year of running) I was able to run 18:29 early about two weeks into the season. but i had two of my stress fractures right after that and I then the knee condition. I went half a year being out of shape and wasn't able to start training until this fall. I can run 3 miles under 20:00 now... I know that by the end of the track season my times should be back under 19:00. I'm hoping to get down to 18:00 or under for 3.1 miles (5k).

I think I have pretty good essays and good teacher recommendations.
I submitted four portrait drawing for the Your Space on the Vassar supplement.

What are my chances of getting into Vassar and the University of Pennsylvania?

You seem like a great AP, but the ACT score is on the lower side and we don’t know your class rank. Outside of the top 10% is hard for UPenn. But Vassar is a great chance in my opinion. You meet their stat requirement very well and they don’t have a problem accepting good candidates outside the top 10%.
