<p>I go to a private highschool in southern California and have a 3.7 unweighted gpa. My weighted is 3.9. I am president of JSA and founder/president of the finance club. I am also a member of CsF,nHS and key club. My SAT score was 2150. I want to be a financial analyst with a specialty in sciences. I have over 250 service hours. I have been in six AP classes. I was in APUSH, AP BIO, AP CALC A,B AP ENGLISH, AP US GOV , AP PHYSICS</p>
<p>With 4's and 5's on all of them. I have great teacher recs and wrote good essays as well. </p>

<p>If i brought up my SAT do you think my chances would change because my gpa isnt goin much higher my freshman gpa was a 3.17 due to family issues. And it has been at a constant increase every semester. Will i have a better chance because of that?</p>
<p>It definitely helps that you improved over the years. Usually, applications have a section where you can explain any special circumstances. Explain what happened freshman year. I too had a rough start but eventually got the hang of high school and did pretty darn well.</p>
