SAT: 2030 (only took once in mar of junior year, and ever since then, i had a debate tournament that conflicted with the SAT so i was unable to retake it.)

Policy Debate (Captain)-9-12-35 hours per work, over 20 awards won including 1st speaker at major national tournament, two time nationals qualifier, two time tournament of champions qualifier</p>

<p>French Club (President)-9-12</p>

<p>Tutoring-7-12-about two hours per work
Volunteer with an organization that focuses on life threatening illnesses-about 120 hours</p>

<p>Student Outreach Club-10-12- we recruit students to our school and are the face of the school when people come to visit. we host tours and are available for questions at all times.</p>

<p>Part Time Job-11-12-5 hours per week at a Mail Boxes Etc.</p>

<p>Well, you've got your 4.0 GPA and 34 ACT (which is equivalent to a 2260 SAT). Your EC's aren't spectacular, but considering your stats and the fact that you're URM, you've got a pretty good chance.</p>

<p>As for you gar_spartan , don't sweat it. You are both multi-cultural and extremely academic. You have a very high chance with Columbia</p>

<p>i wouldnt say he has a VERY high chance...but its probable.
id say the SAT score brings down ur chance majorly.
a lot of the ppl who apply to CC have like 2250+ if not 2300+</p>

<p>but columbia's middle 50% sat is way below 2200... i don't think it SERIOUSLY jeopardizes the chance:)</p>

<p>I don't think enough people know exactly how prestigious the TOC is, and the amount of dedication and skill it takes to get there. Your debate EC is pretty damn awesome (scores could be better but meh), I say you have a pretty good chance.</p>
