welcome to penn O.o

only thing, don’t make your awards sound like a list. Focus on the couple that REALLY count.

Should be more than enough for the College, and a fairly good chance for Wharton.

Make it absolutely clear that you took the most rigourous classes available at school. (Do this in the commonapp essay.)

A couple of grammatically correct and properly spelled essays should more than suffice.

I want to major in Political Science - definitely applying to the College and not Wharton! Haha

Good Application. Good grades… OK ACT score. No SAT 2!!!

From what i can see here, you are a great student with good leadership. Excellent chance if you’re non asian. A bit of a pickle if you are. Around 350 Siemens/Intel national semifinalist will apply to the HYPSM and Penn+ Columbia, with the Westinghouse heavily weighted. You have to be competitive against these kids.

Love the mini-golf job! Did you have to dress as a pirate? Brings up memories of my sisters working at Burger King (check out their uniforms from the 1980s on youtube commericials) and Roy Rogers (cowboy). On the other hand, I was a room service waiter (bowtie).

CC’er: I am not Asain and UPenn doesn’t require SAT 2 scores with the ACT… I’d rather not submit them.
jamesschen: No pirate costumes actually :P

Thanks for the input everyone! :)

they may not require them but you are shooting yourself in the leg by not submitting them. If they are upper 600’s/ lower 700’s you’re not losing anything by submitting those. Just so your application doesn’t have a big fat N/A on it.

I have Bio-M : 680 and US History : 690. Should I?

To Hewittdy:

If not required, no.

This person participated in a lot of activities…but gut instinct says no to wharton ED, yes to college ED.

I’m not going to apply to Wharton, but definitely the college. Perhaps ED… I haven’t decided on that though. My interests are so dispersed, but I am totally dedicated to all of them.
