Hey indiun1,

First of all, good luck this fall. Don’t stress out too much.

Based on the information GT provides ([Georgia Institute of Technology :: Undergraduate Admission :: Quick Facts](<a href=“Blow the Whistle! (404 error: page not found) | Undergraduate Admission”>Blow the Whistle! (404 error: page not found) | Undergraduate Admission)), it looks like your numbers a little low. Depending on which school you go to, this is could be pretty damaging since a lot of overachievers use GT as a safety school. The math and science AP exams that you are taking this fall underscore your aptitude in these subjects, so try to back them up with a strong SAT II math score. You might also want to think about taking a science SAT II such as chemistry, biology, or physics.

As for UGA ([University of Georgia: Quick Facts](UGA)), it looks like most of your numbers are right on-point. UGA’s admissions process is very numbers-based. I would encourage applying early, if just to demonstrate interest. Plus, UGA has an amazing law school, so I’m sure you would enjoy the experience.

As for your extracurricular activities, they seem a little scattered. What is your motivation for undertaking all those activities? Of those, the ones I find truly impressive are the designing a website and leading the environmental club. Perhaps next semester (fall), you could create some sort of research project on waste management and recycling within your school and implement with the enviro club. I don’t really understand how your activities and interests relate to your major. Perhaps in your essays, you could elaborate on what makes you tick.

Take some time and reflect on what you’ve done so far. You’re going to do just fine!

Good luck,
Jing
