anyone???

the test scores and the Cs hurt you bad. (i have weak grades too.) korean isn’t a URM, unfortunately, but first-gen college is a hook. if you can get the test scores up, it’s probably competitive.

yeah i didnt think being a korean was a hook so i didnt list it up there haha but okay thank you. do you think the C’s could be a make it or break it factor?

I cant really chance you since I’m still in hs, but I do know that University of Chicago doesn’t look at SAT II scores if you’re worried. Also, I think that bluestarcadet is right that being Korean is not a URM really.

I think you guys misread my info up top, i didnt mention being korean would be URM lol but thats okay. but natalie_sd, i didnt know Chicaco didnt look at SAT II scores! can you verify this?

Yes. https://collegeadmissions.uchicago.edu/admissions/firstyear/

Look under #4, Test Scores

“…We do not require any SAT Subject Tests…”

Also, [College Search - University of Chicago - Deadlines](<a href=“College Search - BigFuture | College Board”>College Search - BigFuture | College Board)

According to the College Board’s profile of UChicago, SAT subject tests are not a factor for admission. If you’d like to, just in case, you can also call the undergraduate admissions office and ask.
