Chance please?

So I applied and had all my materials in in late October. I applied directly to the SBS school for Psych.

3.53 GPA W/ 3.4 UW
ACT 28
Honors/APs-
9th- Honors World History/English
10th- none
11th- AP US History (B in class, 4 on exam)
12th- AP Stat, AP Psych, AP US Government/Politics

Recs- Guidance counselor (I assume good, but she is my 4th counselor in 4 years), English teacher from 10th, 11th, and this year (who went to OSU fr, so, and jr years of college) wrote an excellent rec.

ECs- Community basketball/volleyball 9th-present, club volleyball this year (12th), History Honor Society 12th, Spanish Honor Society 10th-12th, Key Club 12th, Drama 9th, Crew 10th, Managed JV Volleyball 10th, volunteer at Neighbors International, work at baseball field every summer, spring fall 10th-12th

Id say ur in 65%. Theres a slight chance u may not get in because ur GPA is just decent, but they look more at ACT/SAT scores anyways and your about average with that

@BushD403: 3.53/4.0 is ‘just decent’? Would that make a 3.4 horrible?

i was at a 2.7/2.9 with a 31 ACT and i got in last year… i took a lot of APs and went to a pretty hard school though… but honestly i had a, what, .7 lower gpa and i got in… so, i dont think any amount of ACT/APs should make me a better candidate lol

so summary: 95% chance ur in

^^^That’s relieving to hear…i have a 2.91UW/3.2W GPA and 28 ACT? Do you think that would balance out to around your stats??

would it also help that my high school is in one of the 5 most competitive school districts in the nation?
