UW GPA: 3.86 (not including freshman year; I hope the upward trend helps)
SAT: 2290 (740 M 750 CR 800 W 12 Essay)
ACT: Expected 35 or 36
APs: AP Biology, AP Calculus BC, AP Eng and Comp, AP Statistics, AP Chemistry, AP US History, AP Comp. Gov, AP. Psychology
I have gotten a 5 on seven of them so far and one 4 in ap statistics.</p>

-Helped Host several Green Events including two regional Green Fairs
-Regional Athletic Scholar Award
-National AP Scholar

<p>I am really afraid that my doing bad in freshman year may affect my chances of admission at many top universities. Do you guys have any advice about this. Thanks for your help and comments.</p>

<p>Last Question: Should I apply RD or ED, and I hope to go to biomed. engineering, if not then a major generically linked to Premed, since I eventually hope to go to Med. School.</p>

<ol>
<li> BME is more research based, so if you want to go to med school look at a major in the Arts/Sciences.</li>
<li> Apply ED if you’re sure Hopkins is your first choice… if it’s not your first choice, then don’t go ED.</li>
<li> Your first year GPA is rough, that could be troublesome…</li>
