Chance+Pre-Dental Help Please?

<p>I'm a high school senior applying to the honors program at stony. I go to a very small high school in NY with a very strong curriculum, it's in the top 50 schools in the country. I have a:</p>

720 writing
700 math
610 reading</p>

<p>SATII-700 lit, 700 math I</p>

<p>GPA- 89.7</p>

<p>AP Global History-5
AP Us History-5</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Tennis team
Track team
Chess club(winner of chess tournaments)
Volleyball club
Key club
Work experience
Volunteer hours at community center</p>

<p>Please chance me for the honors program and pre-dental program. Also, if someone could give me any valuable information about the pre-dental program, like what I should major in or anything else, it would be greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>I think your GPA is a little low for the honors program. I don’t think you’ll have any issue getting into the school, but I hear that the decision for the honors program is pretty random and you won’t know until mid-March. Also even though your gpa is on the lower end, it seems like you have had a tougher course load and they will consider that I think. Now I am going for pre-med and I am a biology major. For pre-med I know you can major in anything you want, but I’m not sure how pre-dentistry would work. I would recommend a hard science of some kind. So biology, chemistry, etc.</p>
