white male from NY

Hooks: first generation, plan on starting a charity this summer,
99th percentile on PSAT so I think I can get something from the Nation Merit Scholarship thing, but won't find out until April

I'm a junior now
I wanna know if I have a shot at Cornell or Rice University, I'd love to go to either one

Bump that SAT score to 2200 and i’d say you’d be set for rice. Ivies are always reaches so i’d say a low reach seeing as how it’s a lower tier ivy. I’d put your chances at ok with that SAT score, but great with a 2200

thanks, I really appreciate it

and I’ll try my best for that 2200
luckily cornell doesn’t look at writing (what I’ve been told at least)
but rice definitely does
