<p>GPA: 3.85/4.00 (im not insane about maintaining straight A's but i noticed that most stanford students have 4.0's. i hope thats not what the college is all about)</p>

-Senior Editor of yearbook (too much work. i sort of regret it, but it turns out i got to know a lot of people better through yearbook and that was great for me... and them i hope)
-President of World Affairs (organized 5 Model UNs... i found out that running clubs is a lot more responsibility than you think)
-President of Regional Quiz Bowl Team (went on TV for game show, quiz bowl, cerebral palsy bowl, etc.)</p>

<p>Volunteered over 100 hours at hospital (nothing special. still looking to do more)
Peer tutor for 3 years</p>

Unpaid Internship at Theodore Roosevelt Association of America set aside by Congress in 1920. Worked 23 hours per week, commuted, researched, helped organize the new museum, answered questions from teachers, politicians, college students, made databases of over 2000 members. etc. worked with Wallace Dailey curator of TR Collection at Harvard. a lot of stuff like that.</p>

<p>a lot of this stuff may seem bland and typical competitive college applicant, but i don't think people are really able to fit into numbers and statistics. i feel like my recommendations will be top-notch because my english teacher called my house to speak about my recommendation and she said it was one of the best she recalls writing and would be surprised if i didn't get in to college (didnt mention which one though). my history teacher said my recommendation was the best one he wrote. they really know me through school and clubs.</p>

<p>lol we are harshly attacking him, dont feel too bad, you will be among thousands of others in the applicant pool, so although I dont see anything in particular, I think it might be safe to say you will be wait-listed, there is something to look at :]</p>

<p>youre all wrong, i think he has an excellent shot at getting in so long as what his teachers say about their recs is true. what are your essays like?</p>
