THANK YOU! for TAKING THE TIME to read this please chance

I know you have no class rank, but does the fact that you say your school is competitive mean your GPA is considered very good?

Either way, you’ll definitely get something, especially because your extra-curriculars and internships are fantastic! I also think you’ll probably get into the Honors college (though your SAT I score is near the low end for Honors kids). You have a shot at a Banneker/Key nomination, though it’s a long shot. There are people with lower stats who get it, but they are often minorities (the scholarship was designed to help minorities). However, the maximum in-state Presidential scholarship is the same as being a B/K finalist: $8000/ year. It’s really hard to judge how much you should expect to get, seeing as there are so many different scholarship amounts and they sometimes don’t seem to be distributed in any logical way, but feel free to search the forum for Presidential scholarship, B/K scholarship, and dean’s scholarship if you want to compare your stats with others.

Congrats on all of your accomplishes thus far! Oh, and even though you don’t expect financial aid, make sure you fill out the FAFSA anyway because it’s often required in order to be considered for a merit scholarship.

Take the SAT once more before you apply by Oct. 31. If you can get a 1440, you can get a 1600. You have a very good score now, but a score of 1550+ will almost guarantee you the B/K full scholarship.

Not necessarily true, @MatzeMatze. I have a 1560 (2340) and I have two classmates with the same score (though their two-part may be slightly different). All three of us got into Honors, but only one was nominated for B/K. She ended up getting it.
