Chance Specifically for L&S Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, ORM (Be Brutally Honest)

I am not sure if I apply directly into Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or Operations Research and Management when I apply to L&S, but here is a summary of what I have done in high school.
For frosh admission, all L&S applicants are considered with the same selectivity threshold; all who enter as frosh do so undeclared.

However, all of those majors are capped enrollment majors, requiring a high enough college GPA in their prerequisites to declare the major. “High enough” is currently 3.0 for CS and economics, and 3.2 for statistics and ORMS.

Thanks! How would you say I would do as a general freshman admit? I know this is a VERY selective school, and the fact that I am out-of-state makes me even more nervous :P.

Yikes, so it is clearly a high reach! Would you say admissions i based largely on academic hard statistics?

Academic criteria are the biggest factors (courses/grades more so than test scores). But the essays are read and your application scored in a holistic manner as described in the Hout report at http://academic-senate.berkeley.edu/sites/default/files/committees/aepe/hout_report_0.pdf</a> .

Wow, that is a very informative report. Thanks!

By the way, if this makes any difference- I used the UC gpa calculator and I came up with a 4.23. I did not include my honors courses for the extra point since I am out-of-state, but I did consider my AP and Community College Courses for the extra point. That UC GPA does not include my senior year.
