your thoughts?

I would definitely say that you have a good chance to make it to these schools, with the numbers behind you (SAT I and II, ACT, GPA) it definitely helps your chances. Your ECs are strong also. It looks like you are going into a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). The awards you got from here are good also. Overall, you have a much better shot than many at these top-tier colleges. By the way, do you have any safety schools? Those would be good to apply to also.

@IvyStruck yesss, I want to do premed or biological/biomedical engineering, and my safety will probably be minnesota or UMKC (they have a 6 year MD program) and ill probably apply to our local uni (Mizzou) which is decent, I suppose, but goshireallywannagotostanford ;__;

You have an outstanding resume! Your scores are top-notch, your ECs and accomplishments are strong, and all you need are glowing recs and essays. Personally I think you could easily get accepted to all 3. Stanford might be your toughest bet because they love people with a tremendous talent, but it’s still plausible. Congratulations and best of luck!

Although admissions to the Ivy’s and Ivy level schools is usually a crapshoot, I am confident that you will get into one of your three. All around, you have a fantastic application. Getting a perfect score on one test is amazing, but getting it on two is just unbelievable. You have good extracurriculars, but the strength of your test scores alone carries a lot of your application. What you have, plus good essays and recs, adds up to admission to at least one of the three.

As long as you have safety schools, then I wouldn’t worry at all. You have a great chance of getting into these schools. Is it possible you could tell us what schools you made it into?

@IvyStruck Yea, i can do that. im mainly worried b/c there was a girl who graduated from my high school last year who aced the psat, sat, AND act (only three people in the nation managed do do that), and every single ivy rejected her. she ended up going to wash u, which is still a great school, but… ~_~

Sphrsy, stay confident! Your ECs are really good and can really tell what your passion is. That girl obviously had something lacking such as her essay or something else. If she really did so well on the standardized test scores, she should have a been a shoo-in right? The only way she couldn’t have was if something else was lacking. Really, don’t worry about it. I really really want to go to Stanford as well, but that’s just one school. There so many other ones.
