then, my friend, you are in a bit of a fix. because, most colleges are not happy enough to give financial aid to international students, much less full aid or close to full aid. The colleges you can consider are: MIT, Princeton, Dartmouth, Harvard, Yale, Middlebury, Amherst, Williams, Colgate, Colby, Bates, Tufts, Pomona … and some others. So, did you check the list? What do u wanna major in? Keep searching!

told ya. fair chance. give it a try!

please emphasize on my weaknessess…if u wish

by the thanks

please reply…
i am waiting…

no real weakness as such. show ur passion well in ur essays. one bad point, u r all over the place, u have touched almost all the sports, not pretty good in adcom’s eyes.

is it bad to be good i different sports

No it is not a bad thing to be good at different sports.
It’s just tht the adcom might get the impression tht u didn’t have any passion for any of the sports u participated in and u got involved with those sports just for the sake of the applications.
but u could easily overcome this problem by showing ur passion for the different sports thru essays

buuuuuuumppppppppppppppp…

i love sports and i will definitely show my passion towards them in my essays

@ivy30: any other comment on my chance at harvard or mit

or any other college where i have a very good chance

bump…

low chances at harvard or mit i would think, especially since the indian pool is so darn competitive

and what about princeton or UPenn

same for princeton… but upenn is tougher cos of the financial aid issue - it is not need-blind

is it a low reach or no chance at all?
also what if my essays are good?

almost no chance at all. objectively. nobody knows. its unpredictable.
