I will be applying for financial aid. Thank you for the chances! Just link me to your thread and I will chance you back

Don’t think you’ll make it to yale.
columbia and Upenn are reaches.
rest look promising, or decent.

don’t know about penn state program.

Thanks for the chance Ralec! And yea, I know Yale is an incredible reach, even with the EA lol.

I think you have a chance at some of those, but Ivies are difficult to get into. Regardless, best of luck!

Thanks for the chance wartsandall! Any other input would be greatly appreciated.

bump 10char

I think you have got a solid shot at all your schools. Only problem would be a lack of concentration in your ECs, but if you talk about your passion/dedication for 1-2 in your essays I think it will be good. I wouldn’t consider Yale out of the question, like the first poster says though. I think you’re a solid applicant.

Good luck!

Thanks vbplayer! and yes, I realized that my EC’s were very unconcentrated, which is why i focused my essays on two activities in particular lol. Thanks for the input!

Yale- Reach
UPenn (I’m assuming CAS)- Mid/low reach (I think you have a pretty good shot)
Brown- Reach
Cornell (Again, assuming CAS)- Mid/low reach
Columbia- reach
Vandy- match
Northwestern- match
UChicago- mid reach
Carnegie Mellon- match? Idk much about this school
JHU- match
NYU- safety

Thanks for the chances Mvingi! Oh, and check your thread, I chanced you back ;)

You have as good of a chance as anyone at Yale. Write great essays and set yourself apart and you’ve got a great shot. Brown Cornell Penn Columbia and UChicago are in the next tier, of which i think you’ll get into 2 or 3 most likely. The rest you look good for man. Remember, essays!

thanks westham!

Oh and I have an update: new sat score is 2310: 800cr, 770m, and 740wr

Thanks for the input everyone!

bump 10 char

Your list seems a little strage to me. You have total community-campus schools like Vanderbilt and Northwestern, then you have NYU.

Congradulations on breaking 2300. your chances have improved.

Yale - small chance
Columbia Upenn - low reach (I think you’ll make one of these)
Rest - in

Thanks for the chance Ralec! All other input would be greatly appreciated. And to address my strange choice of nyu as compared to the other campus-oriented colleges: I just love new york city lol.

bump 10char
