Talk to your GC and try to get their input/help. Try to see if you can call the financial services offices at the schools you are interested to set up an appointment. So you can discuss w/ them your financial aid situation & get a good idea of how much aid you’ll receive before you apply to the school. The colleges recommended by other CC users are good, check out Purdue & UMass Amherst as well.

@Themathaw I have applied to Florida A&M, as they provide a scholarship for students with a 29 or higher on the ACT. I will be applying for Cornell, and the Univerity of Florida as well, since those schools have the best programs for Horticulture. I know it is a long shot, but you know anything is possible. An UPDATE on my ACT scores, I originally had a 29, but I boosted it to a 32 in just 3 months! I got a 35 on the science portion, 34 on English, 30 on math, and 31 on Reading!
