<p>what are my chances at uc berkeley and Rice University?</p>
<p>inteneded major- integrative biology
alternate major- undeclared </p>
<p>the ultimate question is that can my act score which is 3 point above their average make up for my gpa being .4 pts. below?</p>

<li><p>uc gpa- 3.7 gpa, 3.55 unweighted, 4.00 weighted (dont worry weakest part of my app) i have taken 12 honors/ap classes freshman to junior year</p></li>

<li><p>Personal statement- i mentioned my parents car crash when i was a freshman on how both my parents became disabled and how i had to take care of my mom, dad, and 7 year old bro. </p></li>

Volunteer- 300 hr. at local hospital (i wrote in my statement on how i started going to the hospital to just get volunteer hours but in the end i want to be a doctor when i grow up) </p></li>
