<p>Junior at TAMS, public residential school... TAMS is basically a high school acceleration program in which both high school and college credits are earned simultaneously. It's part of the University of North Texas, so I'm taking UNT courses. 4.0 GPA.</p>

<p>I think you're fine for MIT, iffy for Caltech just becoz they admit so few, and your SAT Reading is possibly a smidgeon too low for Ivys or a top liberal arts school, but certainly worth the crapshoot of applying. As I said in above thread, I think you ECs are not a problem. The only <em>relative</em> weakness you have is the SAT reading score. Certainly include applications to Tech safetys (Georgia tech TCNJ, RIT).</p>
