=( for MIT, Stanford, Hopkins .but what about the rest? XD

Okay- your stats are next to perfect except for that SAT score. A 650 can come from just a few questions wrong. I dare you to retake it and notice the 650 turn into a 790. I dare you.

You are the CREAM OF THE CROP, here. I don’t know why you even put up a chances thread. You need to craft fantastic essays, get great recs, and fix up that 650. The rest is a crapshoot called the admissions process, but I wouldn’t be surprised if every single school on that list admitted you. However- that is a pretty varied list of schools pretty much copy/pasted from the top schools list. Are you sure all of them are fantastic fits?

I agree with the above poster, your statistics are exceptional! That’s unfortunate with the critical reading though:( That is the only flaw I see though. I wouldn’t be surprised if you got into most of them, and I am almost certain you will get into all of those with the exception of the Ivies. I still think you will get into Ivies, but they are so unpredictable it’s hard to be certain. Regardless, good luck!(not that you will need it;)

You come across as too much of a stereotypical Asian, that will hurt you. Write good essays not about science things.
Stanford: - reach
Rice: - match
Northwestern: - match
Hopkins (Biomedical Engineering): - reach
Georgia Tech: - safety
Duke: - high match
Cornell: - high match
Princeton: - reach.

MIT: reach
Stanford: reach
Rice: low match
Northwestern: match
Hopkins (Biomedical Engineering): low reach
Georgia Tech: match
Duke: high match
Cornell: high match
Princeton: reach

Rice and Georgia Tech- your in. And if you apply for Cornell ED, you are definitely in (although you could still get in with RD). For all the others, its going to be difficult to get into for anyone, but you have a pretty good shot.

MIT: reach (but it’s a reach for everyone)
Stanford: reach
Rice: lower reach/ match
Northwestern: match/in
Hopkins (Biomedical Engineering): low reach
Georgia Tech: in
Duke: match
Cornell: match
Princeton: low reach/ i think you have a good shot.
good luck!

NICE you have very good chances. I think you could expect ATLEAST 1 out of MIT, Stanford, Princeton, and Cornell. Btw, are you going to apply EA or ED to any of the schools on your list? Gl and I hope you get into your favorite school.

I agree with the poster above, your class rank is prob killed your shot at #1 because an A- or 2 or a B+ which is 100% bs, your into at least one top school for sure.

MIT: low reach
Stanford: low reach
Rice: match
Northwestern: match
Hopkins (Biomedical Engineering): high match
Georgia Tech:match
Duke:match
Cornell: high match
Princeton: lower reach/high match

its people like you that intimidate the hell out of me, really, y is everyone so perfect? wah
but um ya, you still have a chance to get better than that 650, but it shoudln’t matter that much because from your ECs and stuff you can tell you’re not going into humanities, plus u got 5 on an AP English, so they’ll see that the 650 doesn’t do your full english skills justice. so having said that, its just a matter of luck cuz you’re in the match/lowreach for all of them; rice, georgia tech, is more leaning towards match/in. and duke cares a lot about ECs btw

Stanford: reach
Rice: match
Northwestern: match
Hopkins (Biomedical Engineering): mid reach
Georgia Tech: safety
Duke: match
Cornell: high match
Princeton: reach

That is my threads name so please chance… but please BE HONEST!

Stanford: maybe in/probably not in… reachish
Rice: i would garner a guess and say you will get in
Northwestern: i say in
Hopkins (Biomedical Engineering): maybe in/ probably in
Georgia Tech: in
Duke: probably in
Cornell: i say in
Princeton: probably not in/reach

Top schools accept and reject applicants with similar stats all the time. You have great stats, but many other people out there have the same stats and are applying to the same schools. You obviously have a great shot at every school you apply too, just get the critical reading up. Take tons of practice tests, I upped my CR score 180 points by taking 4 or 5 practice tests.
