-California resident
-Shooting for biological sciences (goes with his cancer research and helping of AIDS patients)
I am going to tell you upfront that UCLA, UCSD, UCB can be totally random sometimes.
You looks like a very competitive applicant that is well rounded. Just make sure that personal statement shines and you will have a wonderful chance to these 3 universities.
What will your major be? If it involves engineering or anything impacted, your chances WILL go down (but not significantly).
UCLA: High Match
UCSD: Match
UCB: High Match/Low Reach
(I dont know enough about USC to chance you.)
What major are you shooting for? USC and UCSD should be Match. Others are Reach. Depends on your ECs. Work on the essays, check if you can do in ACT or improve SAT.
BTW if you have any questions about UCLA or UCB or UCSD admission process feel free to message me because I got into all those schools (sorry I cannot speak about USC because I didn’t apply there)
@parentnil95 The ec’s are there
@IBGuy101 What could this applicant do to make UCLA and UCB matches as well?
@nadal90 High SAT (2300+), Great personal statement… To be honest with you, this applicant is already very competitive for the high tier UC’s and USC.
@IBGuy101 Thank you very much for your input!
He’s in good shape, but have a backup plan, just in case.
