UC San Diego {I know its a REACH}
UC La {I know its a REACH}
Purdue University
Bowdoin College

i don't think your below average even for this site. raise that act and you'll be golden

You have a good shot at all the UC's since UC only calculates your GPA of your sophomore and junior years.
Pretty good chances at all the colleges, especially if you raise your ACT score.

Thanks guys, i really appreciate the responses!

Anyone else?

Please?...

hello......

This doesn't seem "below average" at all IMO.
Impressive. Bring that ACT up and it'll be way better. =]

comparitively speaking, i just thought it might be a little below average when i looked at all the other people on CC.

Thanks!

Anyone else?

your academic record looks good. Raising your ACT score would make you even more competitive. See if you can add at least one more leadership position. Are you planning to take another SAT2 test? Make sure you have that on your calendar. If you do get high marks in your next ACT, maybe you should hold off on taking the SAT. When you submit your SAT2 scores, colleges will also see your SAT score.

Senior year 4 APs and 6 Honors (weighted) classes

[/quote]

10 classes? That's pretty heavy, considering that 6 to 7 is the norm, especially for APTests-heavy senior year. Good lucki mdel.

haha sorry i didnt mean it that way

i have 7 classes, and at my school all APs are weighted to honors..so of my 6 honors classes, 4 of them are AP.

Yeah, i plan of taking Math II in the fall of senior year and hopefully raising my ACT tomorrow. I did not do too well on the PSAT, (like very bad), so i just plan on focusing on the ACT and the subject tests.

Thanks!

Don't self study if you're only doing it to help your applications. Senior year self studies do not help admissions.

i know, for the purpose of credit--not admissions
