Thank you very much! I Promise to chance back!!!

Princeton requires an SAT score … don’t they…

no. ACT is also accepted

If the B’s were not in math and science, there might be a better argument at top colleges given your few years in the states. Maybe Cornell with a phenomenal application and an increase in your ACT score, but don’t seen P or B. Yes to the bottom 6 and probably CMU if you’re full pay.

cut ur EC down to 7, i don’t know what Ivy, everything else is possible

thx for u guys opinions! (sigh) I knew that my sophomore years grade would somehow hurt me, and that’s why I decided to take the math2 and physics SATs.
anyone else?

oh i forgot to add one more to my resume:
attended the idTech camp in Rider university to learn C++ (11)

bump…

Hmm your GPA is high enough, are you in top 10%? Your ACT score is about 60th percentile there, so thats good. Your ECs looks good. I think if you write great essays youve got a great shot at Cornell ED. Princeton and Duke idk about, but Rice NW and Brown are matches. I hope to see you at Cornell :)

thx for the positive input! My school doesn’t rank but I think I would be in the top 10-20%.

Oh also, lol i don’t think that Brown can be a match school for anyone, although I’m happy to know that you put Brown as a match school for me :)

bump…

Ugh…honors physics was the death of me! Your ECs look really good! This is my first time chancing someone, but I think you have a really good chance of getting into a majority of the schools listed. I think it is good your are applying ED to Cornell (I’m doing the same for Columbia  ), but as for Princeton…I don’t know if anyone is ever a match for it, lol.

thx for chancing me! lol my B in honors physics is exactly the reason why I’m taking the physics SAT after the summer, lol i just wanna cover that B up…
good luck in Columbia :)

ivies might be out of question for you unless you write a really creative essay on experiences here. the others seem pretty good for you to get in. You might want to add carnegie mellon onto your list - they have a top comp sci program and its not too hard to get into.

lol thx for the input! well I do have Carnegie mellon in my list (CMU = carnegie mellon lol)
for all the ivies, I apply to Princeton cuz I live like 10 minutes away for it, Brown cuz I heard that it sometimes accepts random ppl (lol), and Cornell cuz it’s my dream school.

hey U really have good ECs, which mainland students can rarely have~
Go Cornell~
I guess you might not have to bother the RDs -v-

ED Cornell–I’d say this is a good chance ED.
Princeton --reach
CMU–high match
Duke–low reach
Brown–low reach
Rice–low reach
Northwestern—low reach
UMich—match
UIllinois —match
Georgia tech—high match
UT austin—match
Rutgers–safety
SUNY Stony Brook–safety

muahaha shameless bump lol

I say that you will get into most of these, unfortunately being an international student does not help too much. I also feel that you just need one thing. Something that could be outstanding. Maybe since its kind of late to do that you must have AWESOME ESSAYS. Anyways you will get into MOST AND IF YOU TRY HARD IN YOUR APPLICATION YOU MIGHT GET INTO ALL.
