Extra info:
My extracurriculars never really started until 11th grade and 12th grade because i changed high schools. I moved in freshman year, and i had finally adjusted junior year since we went from moving into an apartment and then into an actual house. Also, I'm applying to be an architecture major in Cooper Union...does performance on the take home test matter more than grades?

Also, any advice on raising those SAT scores? I'm taking them again in the fall.

I'm such a needy person. Thanks for all the advice!

This is depressing lol.

No it’s not, your fine lol.

I really like your course rigor throughout the years, which shows improvement. Your SAT score is really good, also Cooper Union’s engineering school requires two SAT II Tests, one in math (level one or two) and one in either Physics or Chemistry. It seems like you are good in Physics because you got an A

Your EC activities are really cool and I think that these different activities will make you stand out and they’re centered. American University is a GREAT school, but hard to get into, the GPA of the students entering American University is around 3.8 - 3.9. If you do well your Senior year, I think you’ll have a great chance at American University. Also you have a good chance at Boston University, but I believe they require SAT Subject test, but you should take about 2 anyway because of Cooper Union. I really don’t know about the other colleges/universities sorry :frowning:

Overall, I think you are doing really good and keep up the good work. :)

Don’t listen to Anonymous886.

Your ECs are good, and your SATs are all right for most of the schools you’re targeting towards. Try retaking the SATs and getting at least a 2000+; that will put you in the range for schools such as BC and NYU. I would definitely raise your math score, it looks a little odd in comparison to your other 600 range scores.

Have you tried taking the ACT? You may very well do better on it. At least I know I did.

Add an outstanding essay to what you have so far + improved scores and you stand a very good chance for all those colleges. Best of luck!

Oh and for improving the SAT score, I worked through the Princeton Review book and that helped me tremendously .
It’s helpful.

I think you will have some trouble with cooper
