Also, I'm new to College Confidential (okay, not true, I've been on this every week since ED came out..but I'm not very technologically savvy), so please excuse me if this is supposed ot be posted somewhere else, etc. etc.

It’s difficult to chance without actual SAT score. But i’d say a low match.Good Luck!:)

you look like a great candidate. I’m a bit confused at soccer102592’s rather harsh and unexplained opinion.

soccer102592 probably says so because Columbia is one school which is really hard to determine whether or not you’ll get in. And I agree with him/her.

It is pretty tough, and it is really harder because you are from Canada. You definitely look like you’re on the track, though.

hola thanks everyone
if anyone has any tips / ideas on how i could make myself a stronger applicant, that’d be greatly appreciated!

attending columbias summer school program is not a hook…haha i did it too.
basically if u pay ur in so dont make it ur hook… find something else
plus the recommendation is generic… ur professor knew u for 3 weeks haha out of lots of students.

You’re more than qualified but plenty of “perfect” applicants get turned away. You have a good shot but make sure you have backups.
