I spoke with my guidance counselor at school, and before he knew my AP exams or my SAT's (I found them out over the summer) he was skeptical that I could easily go to the schools that I desired. Perhaps with my new scores, this could make a difference. Do people have any opinions or advice about these scores and the schools that I wish to apply to?

I am a rising senior.
Location: East coast public school, 2000 people
GPA: 3.34
SAT CR: 740
SAT Writing Skills: 800
SAT Math: 740
SAT II US History: 770
AP BC Calc, (+AB subscore): 5
AP US History: 5
AP French Language: 5

I skipped a year in math and french, so my schedule last year was Senior AP French, senior BC Calculus, AP US History, chemistry honors and English honors (neither are offered at AP level). I came down with bronchitis and influenza over the year and it hurt my grade, and there was much animosity between my English teacher and myself.

The only extracurriculars that I do are ballroom dance, guitar, teaching 7th graders math and evening math classes. I don't do much because I like to take time to read (it seems colleges don't appreciate that :))

Next year my schedule will be AP European history, AP US Govt, AP Statistics, discrete mathematics classes at Boston University, and honors European literature. I think that I can maintain a 3.7-4.0 GPA over next two quarters, and I can get a good grade on two other SAT IIs.

based on this, do people think it is wishful thinking to apply to Columbia, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, UC Berkeley and Mcgill?
I will also apply to Tufts, UCLA, University of Michigan. Do people have any advise for what I can do to increase my desirability for these colleges? thank you very much!
