I started taking medication for ADD at the start of junior year, and its helped a lot; ill mention it on the app

yea, im in the same boat as you, low sophomore gpa, high jr gpa. im hoping i get in, i wanna go so bad. your standardized tests are really good, so that should help.

You have a pretty good chance if you apply early. You have a very strong ACT, and a lot of pretty good EC's. While your GPA isn't outstanding, it's not weak by anymeans. I think they'll probably see Sophomore year --> Junior year as a growth, and probably some fluke that year; especially with your higher ACT scores.

With an overall GPA of a 3.5 + 33, UMich would be inbetween a Match and Slight Reach. My school sends about 50 kids to UMich per year, but I know many kids from our school deferred with similar stats to yours (3.7 + 31, 3.7 + 33, 3.6 + 32, etc). Make sure you apply early, and write good essays. Good luck :P
