What's the logic behind making SCEA chance threads after the deadline? Isn't the entire point to help you decide whether to apply or not, depending on the legitimate chances?

Come on guys, just wait it out.

oh cut it out
this is an unnecessary thread
we do it so we can become optimistic
let us do what we wish

You know it's pointless when most of the chance thread repliers are actually the applicants themselves.

yeah, no kidding.
if they make you feel optimistic and happy, I guess I am not gonna try to stop you lol :p. It just seemed extremely pointless to me.

it's just a way for them to relieve anxiety i think.

@eatsalot: you nailed it, at least for me. Haha. I actually made my chance thread within an hour I submitted. I felt very relieved once I had finished. It was a weird feeling. There is no particular reason for it, you just do it.
