<p>Applying ED to CAS for a major in journalism</p>

<p>My SAT's are low 600-700 in all sections.
Taking SAT Subjects Nov. 1st
GPA: 3.8/4.0 unweighted
Rank: 53 out of 603
Have taken all honors courses and accelerated math, starting last year have taken all AP classes: AP History, Ap Calc, Ap Eco, Ap Chem, Syracuse University English, etc.</p>

Entertainment editor for newspaper junior year
Editor-in-chief of paper this year
Journalism Award</p>

<p>Clubs: History Club, Junior/National Honor Society, Ski Club, Newspaper</p>

<p>I know my SAT's arent great, but I take all hard classes and have a good gpa so hopefully that shines through, my essay was well written, and hopefully when they see that i am the editor-in-chief of my high school newspaper this year they'll take that into account</p>

<p>nyu is my dream.. but i'm pretty doubtful.</p>

<p>you gave a huge range of SAT scores...
an 1800 would be super low for NYU, while a 2100 would put you very well in range.</p>

<p>CAS is getting tougher and tougher each year, gotta say.</p>
