Chance to get accepted to UConn

<p>I was wondering if, with my credentials, I could be accepted to UConn. It's my number one choice, so I really want to be accepted. I applied for the Business School, and would like to sing A Cappella and play club soccer or walk on for football</p>

<p>3.3 GPA, 1810 SAT, out-of-state hispanic</p>

<p>4 years of soccer, 2 years as a Varsity starter
3 years of club soccer, traveled the whole east coast for tournaments, and traveled to Ireland and the UK for a tournament</p>

<p>4 years of High School A Capella (5th freshman to ever make the group), Senior Captain
Freshman year: Placed 1st at the 2009 Boston Heritage Festival
Junior year: placed 1st in the 2011 Mid-Atlantic High School A Cappella Championship, placed 3rd at the 2011 National High School A Cappella Championship in New York City
All-State Choir Honors (scores were 8th in New Jersey)</p>

<p>3 years of DECA Business Group
Sophomore year: placed 18th in North Jersey in Principles of Marketing, could not attend NJ State Conference
Junior year: State Finalist for Advertising Campaign, received the 1st place Presentation Award for Advertising Campaign (Blockbuster On-Demand)
Senior year: Placed 5th in North Jersey in Marketing Communications Team Event, NJ State Conference
Received B's and A's in all business classes throughout high school</p>

<p>I think your have a good shot at general admission. I think its hard to judge your GPA because you don’t state if its weighted or unweighted. Have you taken honors or AP classes?? One of my son’s friends had higher SAT scores and GPA and was rejected to the business school. I don’t know if UCONN places you in the arts and science if they reject you for business. Good luck</p>
