What do you guys think are my chances of getting in? And do you think I should retake my ACT. My twin brother got a 34 and we normally get around the same score for practice tests and such so I figured I might be able to a little better. My GPA is really slaughtering me and if I don't get into UMich and my brother does I'm going to be depressed as hell :(

If anyone knows chances for these would be nice also:
University of Chicago
University of Virginia
New York University
University of California - Berkley
University of California - Southern Cal
University of North Carolina
Carnegie Mellon
University of Texas - Austin

I meant University of Southern California

Cal, Chicago, UNC and UVA are reaches, the rest of the schools are matches. Since you are in state, you have a shot at Michigan. Your GPA will hurt but your ACT is solid. But your school selection is all over the place. NYU, USC, Chicago, Cal, CMU and Michigan have nothing in common with each other. What do you want to get out of your college experience exactly?

It's too late to retake your ACT for this year - and your ACT is fine anyway.

Looks good for Michigan.

By the way, USC is NOT part of the UC system and is a private university.
