do u think i have a shot at haas?

Looks like you have a great shot. Your grades are top notch, your EC's look great, as long as you can wright a good essay, I think you're money.

I'll be applying to Haas as well a year after you. Best undergrad bschool in the west.

So far so good, but you need to show your math strength too. So make sure that you can earn an A in Cal 1 and then another A in Cal 2 in the Spring. My friend is going to apply to Haas in the fall also, and she takes some challenging math classes even though they are not required. I hear that admission people like to see students taking tough courses outside their majors.

ya thats what i have to do. A in calc 1 and calc 2.

do u guys know how competitive the usc marshall school of business is. And how many transfers from CC are admitted each year and gpa and stuff

Actually on the Haas FAQ page it specifically says they do not weigh an applicant any higher if they choose to take more "challenging" courses that are not required for admission. So don't take higher level math classes that you don't need for Haas thinking it will give you an edge in admissions. Take simply the requirements they want and get A's in all of them. That's your best shot of getting in.

Yeah, simply do your best.

I'd say;

USC Marshall - Match/Safety
Haas - Reach/Slight reach (well its for everyone)

Are the new essay prompts up? (For haas that is)

At UCLA orientation I met 4 Haas rejects with 3.9+ gpas. One even owned an clothing business where he imports clothing from China and resells to stores with annual gross of over $60,000. Not bad for a full time college student.

I, myself, did not apply. Didn't have the recs completed.
