physics - i will take it

writing - 540
critical reading - 480
math - 700

Is it possible for me to get in there. any comments?
thank you

Northwestern does say that they employ a holistic overview of each application. However, at first glance, your SAT scores do stand out quite a bit. Try to retake the SAT again and boost up both the Writing and CR up to a 600, then explain your situation as an international. Also, make sure you take the TOEFL exam. It may also help you out. Sometimes, people do perform better on the ACT. Check on the ACT's website (ACT, Inc. : A Student Site for ACT Test Takers) to see if the ACT is offered in your country. If it is, try out some ACT practice tests and try to take a test before December.

For both tests, the best test prep is offered by Princeton Review. Purchase those test prep books from your local bookstore or you can order online.

Otherwise, your grades are solid and you seem to be involved (in what ... I don't really know).

Once you get back your SAT/ACT scores you can try updating the thread and get another chance. Right now, it's a far reach.
