I'm a freshman at NCSU who made the biggest mistake of my life so far by not applying to Chapel Hill last year. I'm in engineering and the level of idiodicy I'm constantly surrounded by is astounding. Anyway, I've realized in my copious amounts of free time that economics, not chemical engineering, is my calling.

Here are my stats:

In-State, if that matters for transfers.

High-School
-GPA: 3.83 UW, 5.0W
-28?/384 Class Rank
-SAT: 740 CR, 740 M, 650 W, for a combined 2130.
-SAT II: 800 US History, 750 Chemistry

I've taken AP World, APUSH, AP English Language, IB Chemistry, and senior year I took AP Physics B, AP Government, AP English Literature, Jazz Band, AP Spanish, and AP Calculus AB. Junior and senior years were all A's with a B in Pre-calculus my junior year. All of my scores were 5's except for Chemistry, US, and Spanish (4's).

Extracurriculars
-I was active on the quiz bowl team for three years, played saxophone in marching band for 4 years, and played in the pit for two school musicals.

From what I understand, at this point my high school grades are weighted more than my college grades. I don't have first semester grades yet, but my GPA's almost surely going to be over a 3.7 first semester, perhaps as high as 4.0. I'm pretty much expecting an A+ in economics, an A or A+ in Calc 2, A or A- in organic chemistry, B+ or A- in my honors seminar, and an A in damn E101.

Oh, and for what it's worth, both of my parents went to UNC and my identical twin currently goes there.
