Which classes are counted for the UF GPA?

And do they use grade forgiven grades to calculate UF GPA or do they not consider them.

Here are the courses I've taken:

AP Human
AP Environmental
Spanish 1 Pre-IB
English 1 Pre-IB
Geometry Honors Pre-IB
Biology Honors Pre-IB

AP World

AP US. Hist.
AP Biology
Spanish 3 Hon
PreCalc Hon

AP Calc
AP Stats
AP Lit
AP Macro
Marine Science Hon.
AP Spanish Lang

Which of the classes above will be considered?

Calculated GPA to be 3.9-4.05 UF GPA with grade forgiveness considered.

And how do they look at Grade forgivesness for 3 classes in junior year If it was because I was sick and had many absences(Old grade shows up, with a separate section on transcript showing new grades from FLVS). SAT is 680 m 620 cr 700 w. Might take in January another time in case I get rejected and use it to help a possible appeal.

Essay and extracurricular acts are pretty good. I would say the extracurricular and leadership points are strong.

top 10% of 700

Do I have a chance for Summer B, Fall, or the new 2013 innovation academy @ UF.

all the classes you listed above will count towards your gpa. The ones that do not count are PE, Drivers ED, and other non academic electives.

UF calculates your GPA by adding 1.0 to all AP grades and .5 to your honors grades. In other words if you receive an A in AP history you would figure 4.0 + 1.0 = 5.0 or if it were honors 4.0 + .5 = 4.5.

If I were you I would write my essay pointing out that were sick and how you made a comeback. Comeback essays are an excellent topic.

by the way a 2000 is a very good SAT score. And yes definitely retake it, dont settle UF doesnt like to see that any applicant settled and were satisfied with any test score.

Good Luck to you and congrats on the good grades.

Oh yea I forgot to mention I’m a senior. I already applied, but I believe my essay was pretty good and it was about my life experience around the world etc.

I did mention I was sick in the “Additional details” box, and that it caused my grades to be lower.
