I am looking to get in to the Meteorology Progam OU. I have gotten in to Kansas and Plymouth State which are both decent Meteorolgy programs but have my heart on OU.

Stats:

3.2/4.0 GPA
Out of State
1450 SAT/ 1000 M/CR
Decent EC's
Top 30% of class
Almost all HS courses were Honors with 1 AP my senior year

I did not meet the automatice admission because of my SAT (Don't Test WEll) so am concerned. Anyone want to provide any insight?

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if you got in to OU. But are you sure you don’t meet the auto admit requirements? Your SAT scores might not be high enough, but aren’t there other ways too - I think I remember something about a 3.0 GPA and top 50% of class (or maybe I’m thinking of OSU…).

But either way, you have solid stats so while you might not be a lock I wouldn’t be surprised if you got in. Good luck! :)

I would meet the auto requirements for the instate but because I am out of state the requirements are a little higher. Thanks for the vote of confidence. If I get in it will be between them and the University of Kansas. I really like the Kansas campus but think the curriculum at OU might be better!
