So my school, although ranked top 50 for public school in NJ, sucks at EC's, especially with this year's budget cut. I've tried my best to combat this by forming honor societies and such. Also I moved to my new high school sophomore year without knowing anyone. Thanks for chancing. Either way, I have DECIDED to apply to Wharton for early decision. I won't regret it!

um dude. as a college applicant, you aint slackinn
youve got a good chance for Wharton, id say go for it…

^Thanks man. Hopefully all my ec stuff will work out as planned.

bumptady bump…

As you probably know, you have a great resume and as strong a chance of getting in as anyone. Good luck.

andrew, you seem to know a lot about college apps and such. would you be interested in having a long convo with me about them?

Lol, you’re a very strong applicant. Definitely have strong chances. Keep it up!

Good chances. ECs are a bit lacking in breadth, but it should be fine because you seem to have a lot going for you both in depth and elsewhere. :)

dont colleges usually send out acceptances between march and april? so shouldnt u know by now? i know harvard sent out theirs

@rubic60 I think he’s applying for the college class of 2016

i’ve looked at a lot of applicants to wharton and other top tier schools, they all seem to have great SAT’s, Extracurriculars, and GPA’s. how do these schools pick less than 10%, what sets people apart?

isnt the max score for sat 800?
how did you get a 2400??? O.O

The max score on 1 section is 800, but there are 3 sections, Math, Critical Reading, and Writing. These three 800s add up to 2400 hundred.

Great shot! the 2400 is awesome and should help u get into the school. Not to mentionthat u r applying ED! Good luck!
help me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1162646-not-really-chance-thread-where-should-i-applying.html

With your perfect test scores and initiative in starting clubs at your school, I’d say you have as good as chance at Wharton ED as anyone.

there’s no way any college would take you.

I think you have very good chances; the information you’ve provided is ver competitive. At this point, it is up to your essays and evaluations. Good luck
