okay...my big weakness i think is going to be my GPA/Rank, i think my ECs are pretty solid. I haven't won many awards or anything cool, I hope that doesn't really hurt me. I've wanted to go to Yale since like the 5th grade!

Can anyone tell me where I stand for admissions? Also applying to Georgetown, Duke, UNC, UPenn, and some others

Thank you very much for reading this!

ps: stole format from yale results thread

so aite you are hooked like a mother f. all thats left is to place the needs of others before your own.

to skittled–what?

idk how strongly Yale looks into ethnicity but as you know, it can only help you. I think that might lift up the slack on your SATs.

I don’t see a “hook” though. what story are you trying to tell about yourself to the Yale staff? I guess you could use the poetry or music stuff; either way, depends on how you framed yourself with essays, etc.

noticeable lack of standardized testing.

with these weaknesses, I think it’d be a reach for yale, but higher chances at all the others.
