Chance @ USC/UCLA

So I have decided to apply to just two schools USC & UCLA. I will be a junior next year and I suposse I'm nervous bc the fact that I've only applied to two makes getting into both THAT much important. So if any of you have a realistic idea.

STATS
Major: Communications [impacted at UCLA]
GPA: 3.92
ECs: Latino Student Union, Environmental Club, Dean's List twice, Volunteer with Film Independent, also Volunteer for the 2007 Los Angeles Film Festival.
Work: no paid work experience
will have 63 units done by spring, 44 by the end of this semester. All major prereqs for USC & core requirements done. For UCLA, they require a min gpa of 3.5 to be considered and at least 2 of the 7 requirements done. I had two by the time I applied but I will have 5 by Spring.
Legacy: None, first to go to college, female minority

USC is my perfect school. But for some reason, I feel weird about being admitted into UCLA, they have so many requirements! Hopefully,t hat'll work out too tho! Thanks.

I’ll be blunt: You don’t necessarily need a safety but applying to two highly selective universities is a bad idea. Throw in a safety or two or broaden your spectrum. You need to do well on your standardized test scores at well so there’s no way to tell where you stand as far as admission. Your GPA looks great, as well as your ECs. Keep up the good work and search for some additional schools.

Thanks. I know. I’m having trouble with that, I guess bc I’d much rather not leave Los Angeles.

so yeah. anyone else already admitted?

with similar stats?
