I KNOW, my GPA SUCKS like crap
any hope?

Even though your scores and GPA aren’t really up to par with Dartmouth averages, I’d say your unique enough and involved enough in the kinds of things Dartmouth seems to like to have a legitimate chance of getting in. I think the oft repeated ‘a-typical asian’ factor will make this a more likely reach for you rather than a pipe dream.

Your GPA could be a bit higher for Dartmouth standards, but if you can improve your SAT I that will surely help. Try and make sure your ECs stand out though- it’s not about how long you’ve been doing the activities or how many activities but what you’ve actually done to make a difference. Make it sound like you have a true passion rather than just a bunch of random ECs.

Also, make sure your teacher recs, peer rec, and your essay is AMAZING. It’s a stretch, but you have a shot
