are you in-state or out of state?

In-state, Southern California. Anyone attending SDSU mind revealing their stats?

Are you in San Diego or out of San Diego (for all California “state” schools it matters more if you are in the “service” area, or out, a person in Orange County is given the same priority as someone from New York) ? I heard they got around 60,000 applicants this year and were projecting, out of San DIego, the weighted GPA would be around 3.82 with an SAT (CR + Math) around 1100.

This is from the admissions website: Applicants will be ranked by their Eligibility Index, which is a combination of GPA and SAT/ACT test scores. In addition, students must complete the pattern of college preparatory curriculum (“a–g” courses) by the end of spring 2011.SDSU service-area applicants will be assigned a credit to increase their eligibility so SDSU can maintain its traditional balance of out-
of-area to in-area students. Students are in SDSU’s service area
if they graduate from a high school in San Diego County located
south of State Route 56 and extending eastward AND Imperial County high schools. For fall 2010, the average eligibility index of
admitted freshmen who graduated from high school outside SDSU’s local service area who met the selective criteria was 4,232. The average high school grade point average was 3.82. The average SAT Reasoning Test total score was 1,175; the average ACT composite score was 27. The eligibility index for fall 2011 may be higher.Fall admission is based on self-reported information. Your admission will be rescinded if your GPA, test scores or course grades are lower than what is reported on the application, if you receive lower than
a C grade in coursework taken during senior year, or if you miss any admission deadlines.

Grade Point AverageAll grades earned in “a–g” approved courses taken in 10th–12th grades are used to calculate your grade point average. See your counselor for approved courses. Honors points for A, B and C grades will be awarded for a maximum of eight semester courses taken in 11th and 12th grades, including up to two IB or AP courses, or honors courses with 11th or 12th grade content taken in the 10th grade.First-Time Freshmen Eligibility IndexThe eligibility index is the combination of your high
school grade point average and your test score on either the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT Reasoning Test) or the American College Test (ACT).You can calculate your eligibility index by multiplying your CSU grade point average by 800 and adding your combined critical reading and math scores on the SAT Reasoning Test. Or, if you took the ACT, multiply your grade point average by 200 and add ten times the composite score from the ACT.( x 800) + = High School GPA Sat Reasoning Score Eligibility Index( x 200) + (10 x ) = High School GPA Act Score Eligibility Index
